Sometimes when depressed I eat to self soothe and gain....when really depressed I stop eating and lose.....when manic I forget to eat for days due to distraction and I'm always on the move so I often lose weight but I've also had times when I would be manic and go out to eat a lot and drink lots of beer so I'd gain. My weight is definitely effected by mood but as you can see it's effected differently based on how that mood manifests and other outside influences.
