I decided I'd had enough of feeling this way and booked myself a one way flight to Australia. I am excited and in my head this is the fresh start I so need but I'm also worried that by doing it, maybe I'm just running away from my problems. I can't decide if this fresh start is a good thing or a bad thing. On paper it sounds good but what if I get there and just get sucked into the drinking culture, what if it's like a big holiday and it forces me not to face the emptiness that's always there?

I just wondered what people on here think, could this be what I need or could it be bad for me?
If you can considerably afford the money and time for the flight, I don't see a reason not to go for it. Just make sure you won't turn alcoholic and you'll have a blast
