Disability applies to mental illnesses just as much as physical problems. This "doctor" is required to listen to ALL you say and answer ALL your questions. It's called a doctor-patient relationship.
Is he a GP or PCP? Perhaps he isn't familiar enough with MI...and the law! Can you get a second opinion or a referral to a psychiatrist who knows what he's doing?
