I like your Scripture, but... I'm not sure just how to take in in context with what I've posted.

TO EVERYONE ELSE WHO WILL READ THIS:
I've been reading almost all of the postings in this forum and I'm really uncomfortable with what is going on. This is what I was struggling with the other night.
It's not so much all of the different religions and phylosophies being posted as the wrongful testimony that us Christians are portraying.
The greatest commandment given by our Lord was to
Love one another as He loves us. We're certainly not showing that love. Even I, as a believer, feel condemned, critizised and held up to a Christian standard that in my heart I know is OFF... by other believers! Only by PM am I told that I'm usually always on the mark! Where is the public support in THAT when I'm left to sink or swim on my own? That's not Christian,
IMO! It's no wonder Christianity is held up to such harsh scrutiny!
BY NO MEANS am I saying that I've got it all correct, or that I am a better Christian than others! I'm holding myself up to my own standards and have found myself lacking as well! What's more, the Holy Spirit has found me lacking! That's EXACTLY why I couldn't sleep the other night!
The Holy Spirit was convicting ME of MY errors! MY own Christian testimony was found lacking as well.
I urge other Christians who are reading this to ask the Holy Spirit to convict them as well. We, as Christians, NEED to follow His urgings. We need to take a long, hard look at ourselves and see if we haven't taken our own detour of egotism, arrogance and self importance away from what the Holy Spirit would have us do. It's not "MY" point we need to be making, but that of the Holy Spirit! We need to ask ourselves and God "Lord, what would YOU have me do and say?"
Christians, I urge you to listen to the song posted and use it as our prayer!
