Wellbutrin provoked extreme and prolonged manic episodes for me. I've always had hypomanic/mixed episodes but this was through the roof. Same with Effexor and Lexapro. Wasn't on any of them long enough (4-6 weeks) to find out if they might be effective for depressed states.
