I got so confused. I was not sure what I was doing. I was only half there for a bit. I sort of knew what the next thing was in our routine that I was supposed to do, but wasn't sure. Then I snapped back into the present and everything kind of cleared up into focus again. Phew!
Usually I know exactly what I am doing when I exercise! This was so disturbing. Thankfully it did not last long. Then I was back at my usual.
I remember the time I left my purse in the fridge. That was the worst time I ever must have dissociated. I could not believe it when I finally gave up looking for it. I knew it had to be in the house somewhere, because I had used my keys to open the door! Otherwise I would have panicked. Anyway, I finally got tired of searching for it, and eventually it turned up in the fridge! I still can't believe I did that! And I left the milk on the counter, where I normally put my purse too.
Our brains sure can play around with us!
