I know that you asked stopdog (why he would never hire a male T) but I wanted to weigh in on this since I too would not hire a male therapist. I've had them before and it has never gone well for a variety of reasons, however, one thing that I've discovered is that I tend to get competitive with other men - something I don't do with women.
