Hey all,
Reeling from a news report of a local psych hospital. It's the one I was in and out of when I was at my worst from 2010-2013. It sounds like it has gone downhill BIG time(or was good at covering themselves before). The new investigation focused on anything since 2013. Not only in treatment of patients(lack of staffing) but also the way they are treating the staff that works there. It makes me SUPER angry and more so that it ALWAYS seems to take a news crew for corporations to initiate change. Luckily an employee(now former she was fired a few week after filing the report) was brave enough to report the problems to the state. So happy to be out from under psychiatry though I understand some absolutely need the help of such people. I still see a therapist but even that is minimal anymore.
