UpDown I've learned how to manage socially too. For work and family occasions. I have some rote 'scripts' and think of things ahead of time that I might talk about. I also need to have some understanding of the physical setting to make it work.

If the script runs out/fizzles or the physical setting is unknown/unfamiliar/otherwise 'threatening' so is my social 'grace'.
