I just ripped into someone I know in a personal message. I am furious.

Long story short, I asked a neighbor, a lawyer, for a personal recommendation for someone who specialized in a certain area of law. She said she had no idea and no recommendations.

One month later, she is appointed to the governor's council for this area of law. And giving a lecture on the topic.

When I emailed her my surprise that she was giving a lecture about something she claimed to know nothing about, she said " are you entitled to know my knowledge?" We sparred and I asked her to send me a bill.

And why? Because she is a jealous person who does not like someone who lives in a bigger house than her. Like I think I am superior to her.
