i know this is an old-hat sort of thing to say.... but how much of this thread to you feel comfortable giving to him. i think several of your posts and several repsonses bring up some important points in a very concise way. Maybe your limitations of client-T relationship/fear/transference/whatever prevent you from being as concise and clear with him... ?

sunrise has a good point about taking more advantage of what he is really good at vs trying to mold him into something else. i am facing that tto a degree... some things i want/need may have to be traded off for what i do get.

having said that...
