I suppose a lot of drugs can damage the brain, along with other organs or systems. As for me, I have been on and off of ADs for 30 years and I much prefer the good they do me, over what might have become of me without them. I have never suspected brain damage, as I still have the same interests and talents I always had. I'm getting old (or will one day ) and some things naturally decline with age. If anything major has changed while taking them, it's for the better. I'm in a good mood, content, hope to live a long time. Much better than the alternative.

If you suspect they have damaged your brain, then you need to decide for yourself if you want to take them or not. As far as I know, no one is forcing ADs.
