I liked the lidocaine patches as well as icy hot patches. I had nerve pain and was on many narcotics as well. Thank god that the surgery fixed the nerve pain and now I'm not in pain 24/7. I do get pain but it goes away if I sit down. So I've gain a ton of weight from inactivity that contributes to pain when I'm active!
