I just had an e-mail exchange with my recruiting manager at one of the placement agencies I'm registered with. Basically he said that he hadn't been able to put me forward for any jobs because most of the positions that I'm qualified for are outside of the city and so aren't on transit routes. But I just got my licence back, so I'm not limited to transit anymore, which will hopefully open up a whole lot more job opportunities. I've been registered with every major finance recruiting agency in my city since Sept. which has produced nothing - largely I think because of the transit issue. So I'm now feeling a lot better about restarting the job hunt in January.
