I don't mind being forgotten. Even in life, before death, I would like to be a hermit if things don't work out, if I don't get really famous for something. Honestly, I already feel forgotten.

But, that is only what I wish. People recognize me here at school, both professors and students. It's unnerving. Though I do have a job that puts me in contact with a lot of people.

I think our perceptions of how we are remembered (in life or death) could be skewed. I don't think anyone is really forgotten by the people they have met. Whether that memory is a correct summary of you is a different story....
