My husband just went in for his yearly physical and this time it was not so good.

The doctor has him coming back in this coming Thursday to have some more fasting blood work done and an ultra sound of his liver and surrounding organs......... all this is due to these fasting blood results.

High Liver Enzymes - ?
High Blood Sugar - 120
High Cholesterol / Triglycerides - 315

I was wondering if any one had any light to shed on these results and what they think maybe the cause of the them.... as I would like to be a little more informed before we see the doctor again.

I guess I am a little concerned that my husband could be heading down the road to Diabetes? - is 120 to high for blood sugar or is it more on the border line and can be controlled with Diet?

I know no one here is a doctor, but I would still like to hear your thoughts concerning these findings per any experience you may have had from your own health issues or problems of an ailing parent. Thx.
