My seasonal job is ending at the end of October, and I tomorrow I start my new year round job. I was eager to start the new job because the seasonal job is now only Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The new job requires one weekend day per week, and this is nonnegotiable. This means on either Saturdays or Sundays Im going to be working 5am-11am at the new job and 1pm-11pm at my old one. I really love my seasonal job, and want to keep the new one so I have some routine midweek.
Also, Novembers are always rough for me. I have been hospitalized every single November for the past 5 years. I have been out of the hospital for 10 months, which is such a long time for me. I really want to break my cycle of spending Novembers in hospitals.
I also made a deal with my family that if I get hospitalized before my seasonal job ends, I will apply for disability. I really don't want to go on disability.
And my therapist is urging me to take a class or two next semester. She thinks I'm too smart to not go to college and degree. She thinks I'm some sort of math/science savant. Even though I flunked out of half my classes when I originally tried going to college.
I don't know. Ranting helps sometimes.
