It seems like you have quite a complicated and tough situation, and I am not sure what to say about it, but I hope you get it sorted out. From what you said about the woman you were involved with putting her hands on you, that part I think is definitely unacceptable. I think that is always unacceptable, unless it is purely self-defense and someone hurts you first. Have you had a paternity test done? Also, have you got second opinions from different therapists and lawyers about the situation? With regard to your bipolar diagnosis, maybe you could seek a second opinion about that as well, if that is priority for you.
