I have to take my pet to the vet's tomorrow and I fear we may get bad news.. She's really old already and hasn't been well, and I'm getting ready to possibly having to say goodbye to her.

The thing is, and this feels a bit ridiculous.. I'm really dreading that I'm going to cry at the vet's! For some reason, I find crying in public really embarrassing.. I'm trying to think vets have seen plenty of people cry given their line of work and probably know how to react sympathetically, but I still just hate that feeling of embarrassment and feeling like I'm weak.. Eurgh. Wish me luck!
