I don't know what to advise. If it were me, I would stay and work through the fears and concerns around safety, & I would try to put my anxious thoughts to rest that someone was out to get me, but I am not in your shoes and I don't know what it is like for you.

It is a good question as to how long you have been with the employer. If you quit and haven't been there long, you can keep this job off your resume. But if you've been there for more than a few months and you keep it off your resume, it's harder to explain employment gaps or why you've left a position. You may also want to think about the future in terms of getting a good reference from this employer.
