Hi, Secretaura101, and welcome to Psych Central! I'm so sorry you're struggling with pain. Can you go to a regular doctor instead of a walk-in clinic? Maybe he/she will work with you more.

I do take Tramadol and Vicodin for my pain, prescribed by a pain doctor. I've also had cortisone shots. Let's hope the prednisone will help. I am also a senior--62.
