I took Wellbutrin for over a year(And only that long because my Dr and I tried to discontinue and it was a disaster-even when attempting to taper off) I couldn't get over the depression at all, even when mixed with different varieties of "cocktail" for my other symptoms and maintenance meds.
I am currently taking as my "cocktail"
Eskalith 900mg
Lamictal 200mg
Seroquel 400mg (prn)
Klonopin .5mg

Over a 3 year period I tried a bunch of other meds, and I found that ssri's do not work for me and actually increased my manic episodes.
