I've been on break from teaching for over almost two weeks now, and I haven't been doing much of anything but sleep and rest. This isn't like me, but I did really over-extend myself last semester by teaching an extra class, and I was still having a lot of pain from my broken ankle in the Spring. I will be glad when we are through today -- the last of the big holidays. Then I will know if I am suffering from holiday malaise, or if it is something else.
