Do you have any paperwork or receipt for the money you paid? Does it specify what you paid for? If not print out the website so you have a copy. Websites are easily changed so do it now...or very soon ( I get bossy )

Yes people do try to take advantage and rip us off. This is no different than if you paid for a $600 TV and when you pulled up to the loading dock they try to load your car with a $300 TV.

Maybe you could turn this into a self care opportunity and stand up for yourself? demand that you get what you paid for or get a refund. Personally I would want the refund. I wouldn't trust anyone who had already tried to rip me off.

If you paid with a credit card you can dispute the charges. You can file the dispute online, you don't even have to talk to the credit card company. They will take it off your bill until the issue is resolved.
