I take 2 meds directly for Bipolar......I take meds for stomach problems and migraines which I think are caused from anxiety, therefore they are psych related......and since I'm realizing how sick my anxiety makes me ALL THE TIME, I'm thinking I need to add Buspar to my cocktail too. That will mean that in total I'm taking about 5 meds currently and soon will be taking 6. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't. Most people don't want to take meds......I know I sure don't. I think it's always best to start slow and low then add as needed. Some people on this board are pretty stable on meds so it must be possible. I'm still searching for my cocktail that works. I hope you find what works for you.
