Having someone calming to talk to. If I'm well enough for activity it works too and is probably best of all. For me, anger and anxiety require some sort of action.......biking, the treadmill, a quick walk outside when the weather is just right, scrubbing the tub vigorously or mopping the floor can help release some of it as long as I'm not too sick. I'm trying to learn meditation but I've tried so many times and it might not be for me......it helps a lot of people so I keep trying. I also plan to learn Tai Chi from my husband as it's suppose to help too and is gentle. Sometimes I SCREAM AND CRY.......sometimes it helps and is cathartic and other times it seems to fuel the fire. A candlelight bath with Epsom salts while doing breathing exercises and listening to something soothing has been a life saver so many times and can really help release the tension that anxiety and anger create in the body. I hope you find what works for you. (((Hugs)))
