I had gotten pink eye. My eyes were blood red, itchy, crusty, with discharge coming out of them.

I went to the doctor to get drops for this.

The doctor said, "What's wrong?"
I said, "I have pink eye"
And in all seriousness, while looking at me directly, he asked, "Well, what makes you think that?"
