Has the floor been thoroughly mopped since installation? It may have only been vacuumed clean and perhaps you're just seeing dust and worker shoe tracks. You said hurricane so it could've been raining and wet work boots making smears on the floor but not seen with the cloudy sky. Fingers crossed for you!
