If it helps ... I often do better just trying to find some relief, like the small steps that Alison said. The little things can sometimes help turn a corner unexpectedly -- even when it didn't work the day before. I've often been most successful in finding hope when I stop aggressively trying to possess it.

A rainbow is supposed to be a symbol of hope. Fitting, because you can't hold a rainbow ... but it's still there. (I hope that's not too sentimental )
