My daughter is a freshman in college and she has shed a few tears herself. She is on an exploratory track because she is not sure what she wants to do. You don't have to know right now. The first two years are usually fulfilling General requirements anyway.

Hang in there. This will be the roughest semester but you'll get the hang of it and you'll gain self esteem. You could always see a career counselor at the college. Good luck and best wishes. Sending big hugs.
