I also wanted to mention something that's been going on.
I have a partner and everything's going great. But he has these moments when he feels very down. And I don't really know what to do because I'm unstable in general myself.
Sometimes he gets really sad and negative and I try to help but nothing gets to him. I told him some advice I gave in another thread, about trying to follow a star. It's my favorite piece of advice. He simply dismissed it. He said it was beautiful but that it didn't apply to him.
After a few hours or days he stops feeling down and everything is fine. I think he should seek profesional help but he lives somewhere where there is a lot of stigma and he feels uncomfortable.
I love him and I don't have doubts about the relationship. The doubts are about what to do when he's not feeling well. Because not only do I feel bad for him, but I start feeling bad myself and I'm a Univerity student who needs to focus. I'm also a musician and when I'm not feeling great I cannot compose.
Any advice?
