I have no disks at c3 and c4. There were membranes a few u years ago but not as of last year. It's bone on bone. It has been a problem for 25 years. Nobody will operate on it, unless I can raise 20k myself first and afford the trip to get it fixed, and the operation is a success, which has 20% success rate at this stage and a possible outcome of paralysis. No thanks. Pain pills do nothing for my pain and never have. Codeine works mildly but I'll never take it again because I was taking it during my daughter's last few band concerts in school and the auditory hallucinations totally ruined those experiences. Chiropractors are not a therapeutic thing for me, because they want to pull on my head which causes me to pass out, and not just during the office visit... Going down the road until I hit rumble strips, walking on heavy traffic street, anywhere. The pain is only just lessened by kratom tea, and that's the only thing that helps at all. I'm close to running out and can't afford more at this time so I'm saving what I have.
I've tried several of the modern "nerve tonics" like gabapentin, muscle relaxers (these help most of any prescribed thing but only if I use one a week or less), Lyrica, benzos, etc etc.
Yoga helps as long as I don't do all the head/neck movements, and when I do I certainly know it.
I've not been checked for a brain tumor and don't think it is.
This isn't any of the above. This is like an altered state of things, like they just aren't real at all. VR headset kind of unreal. Shapes are mildly distorting on their own, while I look at them. The hard edges of things move in their place in space. Typing this has taken 45 minutes.
