We usually take down the Christmas tree, wrap up all the ornaments and decorations, and do some general house cleaning. I did the house cleaning thing yesterday, but skipped the tree.

I spent New Year's in Denmark once and the New Year's eve dinner was a white fish (cod?) in a white sauce. I was told it is very traditional and followed in almost all Danish homes.
