Does anyone have a schizoid personality disorder mother?

I am looking online for anybody who has had a similar experience to me. My mother was exceptionally abusive towards me when I was growing up, it got worse as I got older and particular when I found my voice and defended myself. My mother also never gave me any affection and was exceptionally cruel to me, physically and emotionally.

I am interested how you have been managing with your situation lately. I have just realised in the last few weeks that much of my mother's behaviour is related to her mental illness. My childhood was very perculiar and I've never met anybody who has had a similar experience to my own.
