Tats to a deceased, friend family members or even partner. Wouldn't bother me either.
Dated a guy with his girlfriend's name and the day she died tattooed on him.
Not an issue. Everyone of my tats mean something, and I would rather see something with meaning than a piece of commercial tat that meant nothing.(Not that there's anything wrong with that either, just personal preference.)
It's about respecting the rights of someone to do what they feel is right.
Tattoos can be incredibly personal and powerful reminders to some who get them. I would choose your battles.
Also tats do more than remind you of a person, they usually mark a time or landmark worth remembering for alot of people.
