Just wondering... Does anyone else have GI problems from psych meds?

I've had GERD for as long as I can remember... way back to when I was 13/14. (I'm 26 now.) But now it seems to be getting worse and worse ever since I started meds 2 yrs ago, and I wonder if my psych meds are playing a role.

There is nothing I can physically do about the GERD. Usually doctors recommend weight loss and healthy eating, but I've never been overweight and I generally eat pretty healthy. (I actually saw a nutritionist for a brief period of time.) I also don't eat past 4pm, so it's not like I'm eating and going to bed right after. In fact, every time I eat, I get heartburn no matter what, and I have a chronic cough caused by the condition, too. So I really don't eat much food in general and never have. It's just uncomfortable to eat...

I've gone to GI specialists who've done nothing, but this new GI dr wants to do an endoscopy and potentially surgery.

Currently on: Lexapro, Lamictal, Rexulti, Ritalin, Klonopin
