It's hard you have to always think your brains against you. Check with facts you know. Ie. Has that happened before? Did they say that? Does that sound like x person? Why would X happen? If all else fails talk to someone you trust if they say X isn't happening and they have no reason to lie to you then what they say you have to believe them. If all else fails be honest with your Therapist and see what they say.
