I did follow my instincts, but passed them by as I hauled butt for the hills. I am not up for saying that about anyone.
I told this woman I went to high school with the entire story, when she asked. I told her that I'm not going to live a life of safety, but I'm being cautious where I need to be. I also told her how she has made me feel every time I've ever seen her. I told her that she is the most enchanting creature I've ever met. But, I don't think it's romantic feelings I've ever had toward her. She just always has my eyes wide open and ears listening. I regret all the time I didn't tell her and all the years we'd lost contact. I wasn't flirting, it's just true. Is that weird?
