Just perhaps be pickier about to whom you decide to give your greatest caring, that's all. As Jennifer points out, friendships are about give and take. You don't have to hate these people for not being able to give. They are limited in their ability. Some people are too self absorbed to be able to give back.. just view them as having limitations.
