I currently use the Mirena IUD. It's wonderful. The cramping is minimal, which is the number one reason why I use BC because I have severe abnormal pain. I only bleed when I am under tremendous stress. But the tough part is that I need to be knocked out to do it because I'm too scared to be awake, and I am also very tight, so I have to be given a pill that opens the uterus which causes labor-like contractions. I fainted twice taking those pills.

I am not sure if I want to use the IUD again, or at least to go through the process. I want to know what's out there before my appointment with my OBGYN.
