We can see a therapist just for generalized support.
We don't have to get into discussing traumas until or unless we are ever ready to do so. It's preferable to not get into processing traumas until/unless you are ready.
A therapist could help you with day-to-day coping skills around the anxieties, the dissociation and the many challenges of life. Have you studied DBT and/or CBT? Great coping tools.
