I do want to say that in many years of working as a social worker with at-risk teens and with mentally ill adults I have never once experienced a colleague(s) making fun of clients. Never once. Maybe I've been blessed to work with especially caring people, I don't know. But every social worker I've encountered takes his/her job very, very seriously and to heart.

Laurie I agree with you. During my career I did not encounter social workers that made fun of their clients behind closed doors. Promoting mental health I do on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I will continue to do so. At the same time when someone that is suppose to be a professional sends a meme to me and I find it unprofessional. I’m going to speak up too.
