Do you ever hide in bed because you woke up "too early?"
When I'm in one my up swings I start waking up early. Early for me is 5 or 6am because I'm retired and usually sleep until 8 or 9am. I've noticed I have a tendency to try and hide it from my husband.
He tends to get nervous and gets afraid that I'm gonna get hypomanic. He'll come at me with eyes big and ask "are you ok?" Even though I know he cares, it's annoying. Yeah I'm ok....I just woke up early!
With the meds I'm on I'm relatively stable. Mostly it's just going through cycles of sleeping 9 or 10 hours, then switch over to sleeping 5 or 6 hours. I don't feel tired or grumpy in the low sleep days and I don't feel sluggish on the long sleep days. So I'm assuming I'm ok and just live with the cycles.
Any thoughts?
