I agree with rechu, that it's a serious red flag. I would only stay for the money and knowing that I was actively looking for a new job. I wouldn't hold my breath for that raise they promised you. Honestly, three months pay at the correct rate isn't that much savings so I would have seen that as a red flag. I don't know if your rights were violated, but if you are past the probationary period and they promised you a raise, and they haven't let you go yet, then you are through the probationary period and they owe you that raise. If it's a three month probation and the three months is up, then that's on them. I would tactfully bring it up, stressing that they haven't done any kind of review before your three month probation was up. And that they promised you this raise to the regular rate after probation.
