I got called to be part of a jury pool, about 10 years ago. It was the most boring week of my life. We were all in a little room, which we weren't allowed to leave unless called to a courtroom for jury selection for a trial. I was never selected for a trial, so I'd just have to hang out. The only upside was they usually dismissed us at about 3 in the afternoon, and I didn't have to go into work afterwards, so I was able to enjoy some nice summer afternoons.

Hope I'm never called again.
