hi debby and welcome!! i don't think it's unusual to miss somebody even though they have things going on. the mind might get it but that doesn't satisfy the heart.

you can miss him and it's not selfish...just how you feel. my bf is in florida cuz his aunt died and i've cared more about how he isn't here for me than i have about what he's dealing with. i care, don't get me wrong...i just miss being with him and feel so lonely.
