KAYLEIGH: Can you save your GPA by getting tutoring and staying until the end of the school year to bring your grades up to C's? Some campuses offer free tutoring.
Then you could leave school for a while, knowing your GPA is good enough that you could return later if you like. It would be nice to keep that option open.
I detested math until I took one jr. college math course and really liked it, because the instructor really worked hard to help us learn. Anyway, a tutor is necessary for some people. I needed to hold pictures of the triangles in my head, pictures I could UNDERSTAND. As soon as I was able to create those pictures, and associate formulas with them, I was okay. If you did geometry, you can do trig. That's a given. So, please don't believe you CAN'T do something before you have given yourself a decent chance to do it.
I agree that college is not for everyone. However, you may only hate it right now because it's not working for you. Maybe some really good tutors could help you change that. Then you would have more self-confidence and be in a better position to decide if you want to stay in school or not.
We're here for you, whatever you decide.
