I'm depressed all year round but fall and winter are my favorite seasons and I tend to do better mentally during these seasons. For myself, I think it's because of swaddling, being bundled up in extra layers of clothing and feeling snug, like being hugged. There are a few more things I love about these seasons, but swaddling is the best of them for me.
A good cry sometimes helps. Be well and I hope you feel better soon.
