Had something sort similar happen years ago. Brown rice makes me horridly ill. My husband snuck some brown rice in with white rice he cooked. I got violently sick after eating it. Asked him if he'd added brown rice to the white and he said yes, because he thought my aversion to brown rice was "all in my head." Not a moral issue like yours, but still sneaky and underhanded.
I'm sorry your parents did this to you.
