I participated in the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s out of the darkness community walk today! It was amazing. Hundreds of people came to show support for suicide prevention. It was so moving to see so many people honoring loved ones who had passed and supporting People with mental illness. The speaker was a woman who had bipolar and had attempted herself. I felt really connected with her.

I want to do more of these things with the community. More for mental health advocacy. I may never have a career in mental health but I can still be involved.

So glad I was able to do this!
